I know many of your children already went back to school. Some started at the end of August or maybe even Mid August but here in Washington State our kids didn’t start until two days after Labor Day. So it’s been two weeks now and I am still struggling to get their “first day” scrapped. For me it always takes longer because I do have five kids to get scrapped. I struggle with finding the right kits for each child especially since their ages range from 16-6! Penny has some really great kits for back to school though that I am sure you will have no problems at all getting those pages done. Check it out, two of my favorites would have to be Knowledge Factory followed by and oldy but a goody Who’s in School 2010.
Alright now that I have found the right kit, I end up staring at a blank canvas for days! Arranging pictures here, moving an element there, swapping out this background for that background. It gets exhausting and I am sure I am not alone in this ordeal.
Happily today I have put together this little template to help everyone get those first day of school pictures scrapped and out of the way, less fuss, less stress equals a happy Mom, until next year at least.
Oh yeah and of course you don’t have to use this as a first day of school layout, you can use it for anything and don’t forget you can turn it, flip it, shrink it and basically make it yours! I hope everyone will enjoy it. Here are some examples of what the girls did with the template. Enjoy!
First from Aly:
Next up is one from Megan:
Then we have Brittney:
Then you have mine done the way I designed the template and then another with it flipped:
Lastly we have Sara’s Page that she also flipped:
I hope that gave you some inspiration and don’t forget to link us up to your work if you download this template and we will leave you some love! Thanks!
