Hybrid Inspiration!

Good Day, Penny fans! Today I’m bringing you a quick and easy (I promise!) hybrid inspiration.

So… Sunday we are invited to friends to watch the big Packer game… something about playing against someone called the Vikings??  I don’t know the whole story but I guess there is history between the Viking’s quarterback and the Packers… *wink* Anyhoo… I needed a quick hostess gift to bring and since it’s fall, I thought a cute paper pumpkin that I could attach to a bottle of wine and then the hostess could use it as decor afterwards.

The pumpkin is made by taking strips of paper (printed  from Autumn on my Mind by Penny Springmann and Traci Reed)… 1 in wide and the lengths are:

  • two 10 in
  • two 8 in
  • two 6 in
  • one 5 in

Arrange the longer ones on the outside and move inward with the smaller sizes. Then match the ends and attach with a staple on both ends. Then I added some paper curls, a cut out of a pumpkin, a bit of ribbon for a hanger, and that is it! Isn’t that cute?  And of course no gift is complete without a cute little card to go with it!!

I hope you are inspired to make a few pumpkins to give away or to decorate the house for the fall season!

{hugs}

Rebecca
