Grilled Taters

One of our favorite side dishes when we are grilling is grilled potatoes. These potatoes are much better for us than the prepackaged fries the boys favor and if you ask the me, they also taste much better! Often the potatoes take longer to cook than the meat, so make sure you put them on the grill a good 5-10 minutes before beginning to grill your meat.

what you need:

grill pan

3-4 good sized red potatoes

olive oil

sea salt

pepper

any other seasonings you want to add (I only use salt and pepper because that’s how the boys like them, but these potatoes are fabulous with cajun seasoning as well.)

Let’s Cook:

  1. preheat grill to your desired grilling temperature
  2. wash and slice potatoes into thin “chips”
  3. blot the potato slices with a paper towel and place them in a large bowl
  4. drizzle or spray with olive oil
  5. season to taste
  6. add seasoned potatoes to greased grill pan
  7. cook on the grill until browned – turning every few minutes
  8. eat and enjoy!
