It’s filled with a collection of slightly worn and distressed elements and papers, including some really fun guitars, microphones, notes, stars, banners and much, much more.  I myself really enjoyed using this kit to scrap my sons love of his bass guitar, check it out below:

I seriously cannot say enough good things about this kit.  Your Song is one of my favorite kits to scrap pictures of my oldest son (16) with.  It however, is not just for boys, it truly is a kit for anyone.  Check out some of the amazing work I pulled from the gallery.

Leslie used this kit to create a really fun 70’s page to show herself rocking out with her Dad.  I think it turned out fabulous and every time I look at it, it makes me wish I had some old pictures of myself with my Dad.

Just to show you how versatile this kit really is, here is a layout done by Laura, complete without any photos at all.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 7th through 11th!

Hey, everyone, it’s Sara back again this year to help you with your Teacher Appreciation week projects!  I’ve done all the hard work for you.  All you have to do is print, cut and assemble.

Below you will find my plans for each day, a shopping list, and  your freebies! I purchased everything I used at WalMart.

Monday: A teacher cannot live on apples alone, she needs hugs too!

Purchase a small jar,  layer dried apple slices and Hershey’s hugs,  punch a hole in the corner of the tag, and tie it on.

Tuesday: It’s o-FISH-al! You are the best teacher ever!

Simply buy a bag of goldfish, punch a hole in the top of the bag, punch a hole in the tail of the fish tag, and tie it on!

Thursday:
Thank you for making me sharper and smarter this year

You will need a large jar, Smarties, mini Sharpies, paper clips and rubber bands.

I filled the bottom of the jar with paper clips and rubber bands. You could use paper shreds instead, but I decided to give the teachers something they could use. Layer the mini Sharpies with the Smarties candy and tie on the tag.  If you want to use the big Sharpies instead, you could tie them on with the tag.

Friday : Thank you for quenching my thirst for knowledge

You will need a cute acrylic cup and boxes of lemonade packets. I included 3 different flavors:  regular lemonade, pink lemonade and raspberry lemonade. (If your child has an aide, there is also a tag that reads,  ”Thanks for being a great “ade” for our class this year!”) Simply cut the lines on the flag with a sharp knife or an Exacto, and slip them on the straw!

Purchase a 6 pack of 100 Grand bars at WalMart for $1 (if using a regular full size bar, you’ll want to resize the tag to fit), wrap the label around the bar, and glue.
There are tags for the music teacher, PE teacher, secretary, principal, art teacher, and librarian.

Extra: This is peanuts compared to how much we appreciate you

I have one last gift for you! This gift may be given to anyone at the school.  The tag reads, “This is peanuts compared to how much we appreciate you.”

Purchase a single size bag of peanuts and rubber band the tag on. You could tie or staple it on, but I used some of my left over rubber bands.
